With an area of 1,245 km2, the Marine Park protects all the marine life that lives in it, from the sea bed to the surface. Species at risk such as the St. Lawrence population of beluga whales and the blue whale are found in the park. See how the park protects biodiversity.
Here’s a new online training course for navigating in whale habitat.
You have to submit a permit application in order to have your activity authorized at the marine park. Any sporting event, parade, show, filming of all kinds, using an unmanned drone, scientific research project, commercial excursion ( by kayak or boat): all must obtain a permit prior to their arrival.
