Digital Content Creation Student

Enjoy creating visual content and working outdoors? You could be spending your summer exploring the marine park and its shores to document the marine wildlife, flora, and the scientific and tourism activities carried out here.

The student in digital content creation is responsible for capturing photo and video images of the marine park, particularly teams in action, discovery sites along the marine park, and marine mammals for future communication or promotional needs. The person will also be expected to edit photos and videos for publication and organize them in the image bank. They may also be asked to write text for social media. To seize as many opportunities as possible, they must be flexible and able to adapt to weather conditions, events, and the work of colleagues.

Examples of tasks that may be carried out during the summer:

  • Writing content for social media
  • Planning photo/video shoots
  • Preparing storyboards
  • Capturing images
  • Processing images (photos and videos)
  • Editing videos while respecting brand guidelines
  • Organizing files in the image bank

Workplace: Tadoussac*         

Period of employment: June 1 to August 21, 2026

Type of job: Full time (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: Hourly rate between $19.78 and $25.17, depending on the level of education

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be registred full-time or part-time in Winter 2026 in a college or university program, or returning to full-time or part-time studies in Fall 2026 in a college or university program
  • Reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work there
  • Reside or study within a 500 km radius of Tadoussac*

Conditions of employment:

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driving licence
  • Work outside in variable weather conditions
  • Be in good physical condition and be cut out for work on the water
  • Availability to occasionally work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Obtain a reliability status
  • Agree to wear the Parks Canada uniform
  • Be fluent in French

*Possibility to rent a room in a house reserved for students, depending on availability
